Suicide your suicidal thought: Say NO to it

Burden your light!

Today has been one of my worst days in this month. A friend, really close, my brother’s classmate and one of the coolest guys in our street, committed suicide in his home.

If I have to come out of this glum mood right now, only the reason for the cause would emancipate me.

Something surely has gone wrong. Why did Mr S who is usually so jovial, vivacious and fun loving take this extreme step? Really, no idea!

Some say it is depression, others say it is his mental breakdown after he was transmitted the deadly HIV disease. Whatever, it is, the incident has deeply disturbed me, may be due to my proximity with him.

S had just arrived from England, and last week was seen hale and hearty. Something might have happened in England? If it was someone else, I could have still digested the suicide fact, but this boy is so unusual. He has an amazing outlook, a bewitching smile, known for his capability for impromptu speeches, he can sugarcoat even the most harshest person, let it be the teacher, his religious father or people in business circle.

The event has made me feel edgy. Why should such an infallible person take this drastic step? His parents are super rich, they own some growing institutions and more than all the family is known for its Brahmanic legacy. S father is the head priest of one of the largest temple in South India. The family is well settled and ensured their two children too have a bright future.

After his high school, S left to England. May be 3 years back. A lot of my friends have immigrated to Europe. For some reason they all have this ‘West’ dream. They jeopardise their peace, happiness and a good family life, for the West . Now what I am really worried is if the country in any ways influenced the moral decay and the consequences that have followed in S life?

Indians seem to be the most favored ethnic group in Britain. Among the 1.64 lakh outsiders who were granted UK citizenship in 2008, 14,490 — or nine per cent were Indians. What would be the case of all these Indians going there? It is a cause of concern. Although I am not a pundit at these issues, I still want to explore the reasons, causes, consequences, and responses to combat.

I hear cases of lot of drug abuse, racial discrimination, etc in Britain. I have never been there and have no clue about these things. But do outsiders easily get lured by these modern Satanic instruments?

Indeed there is a moral in our story here. What is more important than those bundles of $$ stashed, your career, West, etc? What is it that man misses in his life? Japan known to be a rich mans country, has the highest suicide rate, but why? Is it loneliness? Or something alien that man still hasn’t discovered?

Like I told in my yesterday’s write-up, my father’s death taught me how little is money and how stupendously powerful is that spiritual force guarding us from above. It opened my eyes and led me to look Vertical than always Horizontal.

This is life. We might have made nuclear bombs, we might have visited the moon, we might have learned to fly, but man has never learnt the way to defeat death. He can’t defy this force, and humbly succumbs to its power. If you have loved life, then surely you will have no sorrow to die. The question still remains, have you loved and have you lived, the way it makes you and others happy?

I love the way Emily dickinson writes it,

“All but Death, can be Adjusted—
Dynasties repaired—
Systems—settled in their Sockets—
Citadels—dissolved—

Wastes of Lives—resown with Colors
By Succeeding Springs—
Death—unto itself—Exception—
Is exempt from Change—”

By the way, I am sad to hear my city Bangalore is the suicide capital of India. I am in fact thinking of writing some blog posts saying “How to suicide” for those who search it online. They should reach my blog where I will lead them the way to suicide their funny, dead and spiritless mind and renew a soaring eagle. If you have your thoughts on how I can amplify, do hit your thoughts.

Guys, never let the thought of suicide creep into your mind. Whatever the problem is, we can find a solution. Live your life the fullest. Ever watched the “Buckets List” movie? Its so amazing. 2 guys before they die, make a list of what they missed to do in their busy life. And decide to complete it all. It is so inspiring.

When you suicide, you are not ending your problems, but giving way to new problems. The family for instance will live their entire life being guilty for not being able to protect you.

You might contemplate on it cause of unbearable emotional pain, the recession, depression, marriage, disease, whatever, let me assure you, there is a solution. I am working on a really long write-up in this regard, which I hope will lead thousands of lost souls to gain life. IT will contain a light Christian pinch too. Please be wary of your friends, family etc, especially when they are on a nervous breakdown. Let us not give way to Mr Suicide to forcefully take away our life from this beautiful, lovely earth.

FYI: Each year, more than 32,000 Americans commit suicide, according to the National Institute of Mental Health.

Now if you excuse me, I have to hit bed and get up early to welcome the fresh breeze. Everyday is a new day and past is past, looking forward to the future. You should do the same.

Adios ~ SAM

Sam, sorry to hear about your friend. It is true a lot of racial abuse cases are reported here. However, it can also be a murder, dont rule that out. Do also let us know the cause for his death.

    Thanks

People commit suicide mostly due to depression. Several times even I fell into this confusion. When things are really hard on you, specially the recession which has badly affected an American like me, it is easy for it.
