Merry Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas Friends!

The most exciting period in my life is here and yes, you guessed it right…the Yuletide season.

One of my oldest mates, a pure pentecostal AG comes up to me asking,

You celebrate Christmas?

Whoaa, why not mate?

Dont you know this is not recommended for good Christians like us? and moreover who said Jesus was born on Dec. 25, so come out of these illusions/illustrations dude..

Well, it was an interesting conversation. What a geek he is…oops…I should rather call these holy morons with paranormal experiences.. :) I wished I had more time…at least time to juxtapose Gods grace in a comprehendible way…hmm…may be later..

Anyways, for me, Christmas is not another traditional event to stick with the calendar. It is rather a time for me to cogitate, ruminate, meditate on God’s love to me that he sent his only dear son Jesus, for whose very sake, I am what I am.

So friends, like the old saying, He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree, let me exhort you to look beyond something more than gifts and partying.

In fact Dec. 25 even synchronizes with the New Year 2009, and it would be the right time to subjugate your useless past and revive, rejuvenate, renew with an optimistic future with God in center.

Seriously, tell me, if at all I ask you…the most wonderful thing, God has done for you…what yaa say?

I bet, a lot…eh? :D

For me, it would go out of human definitions, may be out of even my simple vocabulary. But to just simplify, in a nutshell, I would say: God has been TENACIOUS, very very tenacious in my life..and this is the most intriguing and blessed thing for me..

Friends, so, as I wish you all a Merry Christmas (included a greeting with my poem on it), let me urge you to mull over the meaning of Christmas and celebrate it like never before.

Happy Holidays!!

God Bless You
