Now this one piece did really make me laugh. I should say might be made me feel aghast? Nah! May be just hilarious.

An Indian techie has allegedly hacked the Royal Australian Air Force website and posted a message asking prime minister Kevin Rudd’s Government to take all steps to stop racist attacks against Indian students.

Guess, he himself might have been through that really disgusting road of discrimination and assaults. Whatever, I should really appreciate his grit. But Man, hacking a govt website? Was he that furious of all the sensational media reports on Indians being racially attacked in that country?

Huh! Ive tried my hand on hacking and I really know the pain. My first success was hacking a mate’s website through Mysql injection. Hmm. Dont ask me how much cups of tea I drank that day.

Hacking indeed is not an amateur’s job. It needs so much professionalism, time, effort, intelligence, and the brains to understand the cryptic codes and finally the brilliance to do things so articulately that not even the greatest IT brains can trace you, your IP, country or any of that sort. Well there are such underground hackers, really smart and brilliant, I know. Interestingly, they are even supported by their governments (Chinese and Russians) to do that.

Ok. Now who’s this techie and what did he write? According to Australia’s Department of Defence, “This site has been hacked by Atul Dwivedi. This is a warning message to the Australian government. Immediately take all measures to stop racist attacks against Indian students in Australia or else I will pawn all your cyber properties like this one.”

Oops, did he just mention his name in that message? Is he really a nitwit? or may be a crypto-identity?

Well the department kept the entire RAAF website offline and replaced it with a page explaining that there had been “technical difficulties”. The site has now been restored.

Twenty Indian students have been attacked in Australia since last month. Australia hosts over 5 lakh international students, including 97,000 Indians. Anybody can become furious over such incidents. Even me. But I wouldnt really risk my identity and hack a govt website, lol. There are other ways to express my feelings, and Pen is always mightier than Sword, have not yaa heard of this? I very much believe this.

Well, there was some badmouthing even when Aussies were touring India (Cricket). The monkeygate scandal remember? Harbhajan Singh and Andrew Symonds, oye? kya? bhool gaya? hehe..that month was the best sensational month for MEDIA. They got increased readership publishing stupid reports on racial attacks and bla bla bla..when other issues like poverty, unemployment were stilll baffling the country.

I dont blame any side, but I do have a suggestion for Indians migrating or going for studies abroad, like Australia. Dont try to segregate yourself from the society by dressing traditional Indian, eating Indian, talking Indian and walking with Indians. When you are in a foreign country try to act like them. Try to patronise their groups, make good rapports with Aussies there and make yourself cool. Sometimes Andhrites, Malloos and others travel abroad with a carrier of dosa, uthappam pouder, pickles and traditional loin clothes. Well doesnt that make others feel you have a very eccentric behaviour? and really deranges the whole system.

So try mingling with natives there, make yourself and others feel more comfortable, be less reactive, and be more of an extrovert than introvert, trust me, it will help!!!!

Well good luck to all Indians travelling abroad for studies. Just take care and make yourself cool!! Eh? Gotme? And those Indian techies doing hacking for fun, please don’t spoil the name of our country. India has the best IT brains in the world and do you know majority of our IT people have been hired worldwide to protect their website from hackers (Turks, Chinese, Russians, Germans..etc). Our global image in IT should be protected, remember we are the Angels – protecting the world from the Beelzebubs. So far our Indian ITcians have done a marvelous job, let us render more to development and protecting the society.

Anyways, Adios for now..
