India has been highly anticipating the release of Ghajini on Dec. 25, Christmas Day.
Now, if you have already watched the Tamil version of Ghajini acted by eminent Surya, Jyothika’s hubby, then better skip this. The tamil version of Ghajini is better than the Hindi version. And in case, you have not watched it, then give a shot.
Introducing the Kerala actress, Asin Thottungal, the Aamir Khan starrer movie is being doing pretty good as critics have rated it 3 + and in addition the multitudinous people trying their luck for a seat is the sign of its media hyped success. Unfortunately, due to pre-booking, it will be a difficult task to squeeze in.
The movie title itself is intriguing to me, as only later did I realise that the title Ghajini in the movie is the name of the villain. And the debutant Asin has done a wonderful job in the movie. Her good-looking face has capitvated quite a lot of them who have already started fan-clubs and websites in her name.
Brief: Aamir Khan in the movie suffers of short-term-memory-loss, due to which he has to record and print the photos of people he meets, his own house and even his known friends.
As the movie unfolds, you are taken through the flashback, where Aamir is a top businessman who owns “Airvoice” and then follows a bunch of funny scenes in the middle and later the conclusion, where he falls in love with a girl, to whom he has never revealed his identity.
Later scenes, you might shed a bucket of tears as Asin is murdered for saving children who were victims of trafficking. The same day, as Aamir is on his way to meet Asin, he is hit on his head, which causes his memory loss. And then obviously as you can predict, Aamir with his six-pack body and a mixture of ‘bollywood masala’ traces Ghajini the villain with the help of a medical student played by Jiah Khan.
Aamir kills the villain and all those involved. Although Aamir is being pierced by a rod, he still survives. The concluding scene shows Aamir’s love to children and the newly started childrens charity center named after Kalpana, his lover.
Frankly, I dint find anything interesting in the Hindi version..may be because I saw the Surya starring Ghajini?
