Traveling to Delhi in AC 2nd class train

Thank God, I booked an AC third class ticket on my travel to Delhi. I still remember, the day I journeyed to Bangalore, with lot of courage and self-proclaimed-faith, which went futile before the chilly weather from Delhi-Bhopal-Nagpur. Trust me, think twice before you book a reservation ticket when traveling from Delhi or to Delhi, during winter. You would end up spending 2 sleepless nights, having dark brown tea, I mean chaaai..that is the only comfort I found.
Oh! I missed to inform you this. I travelled in 2 AC for the first time, and thanks to our own, I mean my loving Lalu Prasad Yadavji, our Railway minister, because of whose rhetoric, I could get my ticket upgraded from 3 to 2AC. But, what I am still befuddled is with this. Why did my ticket get upgraded to 2 AC? when I booked my ticket a month back, and it was still available of 5 seats..hmm..that is really a mystery!
If you asked me what it was like travelling 2 AC, it is simple. Imagine travelling on a coverless bullock cart and a one with neat tarpauline spread. oops..well let me simplify it. 3AC is the same as reservation except it contains AC. And plus 3 people share 3 seats in a row. In AC 2, its just 2 people, see you can spread out your leg like a King and enjoy the ride. They give you nice blankets, 2 pillows if you demand like me, and plus some crap music sometimes. You can also pull over the curtains, if you need some privacy. Not much a difference, still enjoyed.
Train was as usual delayed, and thanks again to our Railway department for being meticulous in following schedules. Who else is so precise like them? Train supposed to arrive 8AM will reach 4 hours later, and if you are smart like me, you wont pack your pags like the other morons. You would calm and steady, order your breakfast, read Mr Adigas White Tiger and wait till its 4 hours passed. Sad to my neighbors who went hungry till 12 pm
Couldn’t share my breakfast, you see, wasn’t much, after all it was 2 slices of bread and one piece of shapeless egg-fried.
Now what is Delhi like? This is January month, 2009, and what would one expect? Yes, its the winter, Ive got 2 to 3 jackets ready, ha! he cant defeat me over and over, am going smart these days. However, my whole journey my heart was comparing Bangalore and Delhi and every minute, it kept buzzing, Sam head back, why to this barren land. Hmm. I got enough time to think of my past, future, present and all bla bla..It is get-set-go. No looking back!!!!
The next time, I get my ticket upgraded to AC1, will write my experience on that, strap on.
