Here is a wonderful anonymous letter I have received from my fellow brother. I would like to really ‘take on’ this may-be-nonsensical email, which I have been constantly receiving from different people. And I am sure the one who wrote this is also reading this. So brother you don’t have to masquerade and write like this. I am no canibal, you are always welcome to call me on my cell and we can have more discussions if needed.
“We dont want christians like you in India and it is because of you that our India is being converted to Christianity. You missionaries must be put in fire and killed for all violence you are causing. India which lived in so much unity and our population also has reduced very much because of you and your church. We dont want you man! We RSS and Hindutva people will conduct more attacks on Christians, and we will also not leave without burning your conversion schools to protect our Hindu community. I will surely break your bones. This I promise in the name of my god. Leave us alone, we already saw what you did to our people in Goa and north east. Christians and Muslims do not belong in this nation. Getting all money from abroad and giving money and food and converting people here. It wont take long for us to find each of your members and bring them back to hindu fold. Await that day you satans.”
My dear anonymous brother, firstly I should tell you this that I refuse to believe you are a Hindu! Secondly, I refuse to believe you are protecting your Hindu community or you are a Hindu believer. Thirdly, I refuse to believe you know anything about Indian history, Hinduism or lets say your own organization – RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh).
I think it is very important for me to appraise you that – this is not the first time I have got such an email. I had got an email from somebody who said he would send shoe-bombers and kill me. It has really not put me in an eerie emotional mode or has in anyways peeved me. While your email is a typical one exhibiting chauvinistic faith, I can also see the lilliputian mind of yours that has been bewitched by pseudo-Hindu ideologies. Be really wary of those people who are inculcating these ‘divisive’ thoughts into your mind.
RSS and Hindutva: My brother, you claim to be working with RSS, and I am very aware that the RSS has been waging war against Christians by engineering barbarous attacks against the church and the microscopic community. I am however curious with something. Do you know the roots of your organization or Hindutva that claims to be protecting Hinduism? The founder of RSS was an agnostic, do you know that? It was not started to protect Hinduism do you know at least this? Alright now about Hindutva, this word itself was coined by an atheist, do you know – Mr Savarkar? He started the Hindutva movement to unite Hindus. And today, in the name of Religion – Hindutvadis are killing Christians and Muslims. All minorities seem enemies to them. Do you know who killed Gandhiji – the father of our nation? It was an RSS Hindu. Not a Christian or Muslim. Do you know they say Mr Savarkar was involved in Gandhi’s death. So what do you say about this? Leave the RSS and live like a good Hindu…don’t bring shame to your community.
Hinduism and Hindus: Like I said, you have no clue about your own religion. I consider the Hindu community to be the most peaceful among all others. Hinduism is the oldest religion in this world and it does have so many amazing things to communicate with us. Have you ever read Bhagwad Geeta? Or Ramayana at least? Trust me dude, its just so really beautiful. The stories just captivate you. You should really read the Vedas, Srila Sankara, etc. Here is one of the most beautiful passage I’ve liked. Not by the weak, not by the unearnest, Not by those who practice wrong disciplines Can the Self be realized. The Self reveals Himself as the Lord of Love to the one Who practices right disciplines – Mundaka Upanishad.
I am also sure you heard of the Gayatri mantra – Aum bhur bhuvah svah
Tat savitur varenyam Bhargo devasya dhimahi Dhiyo yo nah pracodayat. The meaning of this prayer is so beautiful. There are many such really inspiring teachings in Hinduism. Ive always liked it and wherever I go I share these really illuminating views with others. I am a patron of the Hindu society!!
Now, Hinduism surely doesn’t teach violence, hate and division. How will you understand your religion if you yourselves do not know its value? I can give you really nice books, resources for you to understand about Hinduism. So like I said, I refuse to believe you are a Hindu!!!
Conversion and Missionaries: Now this is another really hot topic that you have raised. You did mention that Christian missionaries are getting a lot of money and converting people. Christians are outsiders and bla bla..I don’t deny some of these. Have you ever tried to know about the history of Christianity? My brother, it’s not 100 or 200 years old. Its 2000 years old in India. It’s as old as Christianity itself. By now you should have seen only Christians in India, but ironically whats the Christian population? 2.7%. Doesn’t that amuse you? Tell me frankly, isn’t that funny? That the same 2.7% registered at 1950 census is the same even now. So where is the conversion happening? Christian missionaries does receive foreign funds, but that is to carry the mission they are doing for the Human society and not to the Christian society alone. Do you know which are the most popular hospitals, schools, colleges in India? Any idea? They are all run by Christians. I am sure somewhere you also received education in a Christian institution. Parents want to send their children to Christian institutions because of the quality of service. When you studied in your Christian school, did your teacher ever ask you to convert? I never noticed any when I studied. I should also ask the same question to Mr LK Advani – if his Christian school converted him
Every bit of money Christians are receiving in India is being monitored by the FCRA setup by the government of India. You surely can go there and ask them the report. VHP – the biggest Hindutva movement – has its own Chapters all over USA do you know that? Shouldn’t have USA – a Christian nation – disallowed it? Chapters all over, gosh that’s too much, and whats more? They are all being Tax-exempted. So more money from the Hindu community, including the VHP is flowing into India more than what missionaries are receiving. You really have no idea about what is happening around you brother. So naïve. Ever heard of St Stephens college in Delhi? Checkout the Hall of Fame – and you will see all popular politicians, scientists, actors, educationalists are graduated from here. Ask them every if they were asked to convert to Christianity. These people never even are grateful to the Christian missionaries for offering them really good education. They rather backbite.
Christians who fall under the minority category are really the salt of India which has rendered stupendous contributions for nation-building. Although small, their presence is felt everywhere. I do regret for what happened in Goa – the Portugal inquisition – I myself being a Christian condemn it. Conversion is the change or transformation of heart. It is not the transformation of religion. In case you feel somebody has forcefully been converted, just let me know, we shall together go and ask that person to reconvert to the Hindu fold. I will be the first to join you.
Northeast India conversions
You also mentioned that Christian missionaries converted all northeast India to Christianity. Firstly you should know this. Northeast Indians were not primarily Hindus 
. Secondly, If Christian missionaries had not arrived and shared the Gospel, these animists and some groups who were worster than cannibals would still be involved in headhunting and stuffs. IF you want them to return to their previous lifestyle, no problem, you will be the first to face the sword .

You should really call me and we can meet up sometimes. I can share with you about Christianity or if you prefer, then Hinduism too. I have no issues. I am located in the central of Delhi and my office is just behind the Indian Parliament. We can even take a walk around, I can show you some really beautiful places. So in case somebody wants to write more hate-letters like this to me, please avoid, and do take the chance to meet me. I would be more happy to welcome you and listen and learn from you. Let us live like good Hindus and good Indians.

I am a Hindu and I cant believe there are this kind of people in my community. These are the ones who really killed Gandhiji
Very nice article! India is a great country and what matters is being a true Indian. Being a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh or even an atheist is an “individual and personal” preference.
Just because I believe in something doesn’t stop me from being an Indian. Many in the West have come to look down on religion as something from the middle ages. I am doing my PhD in Britain and have experienced the intense atheism in the academic circles as well as in the media and elsewhere. For many, Christianity is not rational so they not interested in it. They believe in rationality and in science. Does it means those who are agnostic or atheistic are not true Westerners as they don’t believe in Christianity?
There are many beliefs that exists in the world. We can’t afford as a nation to be confined in this level of thinking. Especially as India is becoming a prominent player in the world stage. It is time we set aside such thinking and focus on things more important: developing our country faster, eradicating poverty and the list goes on.
Mr Sam since you refuse to believe I am a Hindu, how can I make you believe? You will not understand my relgion because you are an American descendant, your religion and everything has started there that is why you people from there are coming to India and bringing drugs and spoling our young people. You people never respect marriage and you can sleep with any number of people. Most of the porn movies are from your Americn Mr Sam. You should be ashamed of yourself for being a Christian. Convert to Hinduism and live like a human being. It looks like people commenting on the blog are also anti-Hindus. Dev seems to have been caught by the Christian nation and must be now an athiest haha Dev by the time you come back to India you will only see muslims and christians and not hindus bye
My brother, I should repeat this again that you have to research more on topics that you are not really capable to handle. I told you I refuse to believe you are Hindu because Hinduism never and never and never teaches violence, hate, division. It is a peaceful religion, its adherents too the same. However, these days a lot of brainwashing is going on, specially the ‘vote-bank politics’ trying to polarise the electorate on religious lines. You are only the victim of such people who I call JINGOISTS. Some of my best friends, my best teachers, etc have been Hindus – and their life really has explained me the deepness of their religion.
Secondly, you should seriously consider to meet me sometimes. You have some erroneous thoughts – like Christianity began from America, Europe etc. They say Christians are the largest religious community in the world..but sadly, I deny this. I agree there are millions of ‘nominal Christians’ doing lip service but not someone who really can be called a Christian – which according to the dictionary means – “Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.” So now if you start counting the true followers of Jesus – the number would just form a minority

America or Europe is not where Christianity began. It started in Jerusalem and not by warriors or crusaders, but simple fisherman who witnessed the ‘man promised who will change this world’. They saw the man who practiced what he preached. Who ridiculed the worldly methods and taught the Gospel of Love by urging ‘walk with your brother 2 miles if he asks for 1…show the other side if you get slapped on one side…pray for those who persecute you..’ This is why I love Jesus Christ ..really amazing person
So in case I change my mind, surely will let you know on my conversion..
Ive always observed – when people persecuted the church community in India or abroad – they never accuse or attack the name of JESUS CHRIST..but rather most of the times it has happens this way, ‘because of you Christians’. So you see the fault is with the Christians who have lost their foundational principles. America began as a Christian country, founded in Christian principles, buts its lost. IT was founded on the Gospel of Jesus which exhorts love, freedom, unity..For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship there..America hence saw huge development..however..am not sure if it is a stable or substantial development..By choosing the less green road, they have lost their peace and happiness
You do read about those suicides..etc right?
Since am getting a lot of hate-letters and calls, I will surely clarify a lot of things about Christianity, my faith..etc..Do strap on for more exciting stuffs ..

Sam, ignore him. He surely does not speak sense. RSS and VHP must be banned in India. We already sawthem thrashing girls in Bangalore for going to pub, that really has angered us. So just put off with him.
Rakhs its not about that. I am tired of receiving emails and threats by such really fanatic people. The more you remain silent, the more stronger they get and they even instill the same passion on thousands others. So Ive decided to answer all their questions – dont you think my article above answered so patently all the questions and allegations?
I am happy so many people reading my blog will at least get clarified of all their questions 
By the way, somebody tried hacking the website this morning. I dont know who did, but then I traced and tracked the IP and even caught the company the man hired to hack my website. Infact whoever that moron is, at least he should know that for couple of months I did nothing other than hacking and tracking IPs,websites for my clients ..hehe..however lost my touch after long time..now I can train for it

Hey Sam, if someone tried to hack into your website and you were able to trace back the company then can’t you report this somewhere and take some action? That will teach them a good lesson. A cybercrime is a serious offence nowadays

nah, I guess that would waste a lot of my time..procedures, process etc..kinda tedious too..in fact this is not the first time, previously my other sites were hacked by a chinese..and 1 russian too..this time however the company which was hired is from Sweden..so stupid that they tried for 6 long hours and still dint find the way to enter..after tracing..I warned them and even told them the loopholes and where and how they can hack my website..haha..amateurs u know..They got paid 4 figures for 3 hrs..can u believe that

Yea nice thought and a good article. Those who claim to be true Hindus and who use violence as means to silence others are in fact faking themselves and just want to force themselves and their ideologies into others.
Their thoughts and their minds are waiting to get their next prey. I have seen some of my Hindu friends who are really good and who truly follow their ideologies of truth they think will benefit mankind

Very good article Sam with facts and figures. While reading your article and the comments & threat that followed I am reminded of a lecture by Prof. Ram Puniyani where he spoke of a term ‘Social Common Sense’. He defined social common sense as a set of understanding which majority of the people in the society come to believe that they are right but they have nothing to do with truth, most of them are by in large wrong, they are manufactured, they are created, they are propagated, they are instilled into the people’s mind through different mechanisms and there is a definite motive behind that. I wish my Hindu friends here could simply spend a little time in knowing the truth before reacting.
